If Teams is not opening or working properly, follow the steps below to reset.
1. Restart Teams – Close and reopen the app
2. Repair and Reset Teams
3. Uninstalling and Reinstalling Teams
If restarting doesn't help, try repairing and resetting Teams
- Search for Teams in your Start Menu
- Right-click on Microsoft Teams and select App Settings

In the settings menu:
- Click Repair to fix Teams without losing your data
- Click Reset to restore Teams to its default settings (note this will remove custom settings and cached data)
If neither Repair or Reset fix the issue, move on to Uninstalling Teams.
Click Uninstall and Teams will be removed from your machine, and then install it back fresh.
