Step 1: Submit a ticket or email helpdesk@acord.org to request an MFA reset.
Be sure to include relevant details and the reason for the request (e.g., you received a new mobile device).
Step 2: Download the Microsoft Authenticator App
1. Go to https://outlook.office.com/owa/ via browser on your laptop. Sign in using your ACORD email and password.
2. Once signed in, you will be prompted "More Information Required", select Next.
3. Download and Install the Microsoft Authenticator App on your phone.
4. Once you open the app, select "Work or school" and sign in with ACORD email and password.
5. Select QR Code option on device.
6. On your computer, you should see a QR Code. Align your devices camera to the QR Code and let it scan. Once scanned, move onto next step.
7. You will be prompted to enter a 2-digit code shown on computer screen to your phone. Proceed to enter the code.
8. Once you see an approved message, proceed to next steps
Step 3: Phone
(If this section does not appear for you, feel free to move on to next steps)
9. Enter phone number and verify it by entering verification code sent to your device
Step 4: App Password
10. Enter any device name (Minimum 8 characters), select Next.
11. The next steps do not need to be followed, proceed to select Done.
12. Sign back into Outlook and approve sign in request by entering the new MFA 2-digit number from your phone.
