Hi Everyone,
A new scam is making the rounds that we want you to be aware of.
You may receive what looks like a party or dinner invitation from someone you know — appearing to come from platforms like Paperless Post, Evite, or Punchbowl. The email looks friendly and familiar, but it's actually a trap designed to steal your personal information.
Here's what can happen if you click the link:
- The link may appear broken or do nothing — but in the background, it may have already installed something harmful on your device.
- Or it may take you to a page asking for your password — giving scammers full access to your accounts.
What to do:
- If you receive an unexpected invitation email, do not click any links.
- If you're unsure whether it's real, reach out directly to the person who supposedly sent it — by phone or a separate email.
- If you clicked a link and something felt off, contact IT right away via helpdesk@acord.org.

When in doubt, don't click. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
