Apple has released a new software update — iOS/iPadOS 26.4.2 — and we recommend all staff install it as soon as possible.

This update includes the following improvements for your iPhone and iPad:

• 🔒 Security fix — Prevents certain notifications from being unexpectedly stored on your device longer than they should be
• 🛠️ General bug fixes — Addresses various issues to help your device run more smoothly and reliably

💡 There are no new features in this update — it is focused entirely on keeping your device secure and stable.

📱 How to update your iPhone or iPad:

1. Open the Settings app
2. Tap General
3. Tap Software Update
4. Follow the on‑screen instructions to install

Make sure your device is charged or plugged in and connected to Wi‑Fi before updating.
