Apple recently released a software update (iOS / iPadOS 26.4) that includes important security improvements.

If you use an iPhone or iPad for work email, Teams, or any company applications, please take a moment to make sure your device is updated to the latest version where available.

This update helps by:

• Fixing security issues that could allow harmful websites or apps to access information on your device
• Improving protections around saved passwords and personal data
• Strengthening how your device protects company and personal accounts if it is ever lost or stolen
• Addressing issues that could allow someone to intercept information over certain network connections

In addition, this update automatically enables enhanced theft protection features to better prevent unauthorized access to your accounts if your device falls into the wrong hands.

Keeping your device up to date is one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect both your personal and company information.

To check for updates:

1. Open Settings
2. Tap General
3. Tap Software Update
4. Install any available updates
