We are deploying the latest Windows security updates to company devices. These updates are part of Microsoft’s January security release and are important to install promptly.

Why this update is important

• Microsoft fixed over 100 security issues in this update.
• Three of the issues were “zero‑day” vulnerabilities, meaning they were identified before a fix was available.
• One of these zero‑day issues was actively being exploited, so applying the update helps protect devices from known security threats.

What to expect

• Updates will install automatically on your computer.
• When the update is ready, you’ll receive a prompt to restart.
• A restart is required to complete the update and apply the security protections.

What you need to do

• Please restart your computer as soon as possible when prompted.
• If you’re in the middle of work, you may briefly delay the restart, but please do not ignore it long‑term.

These updates are delivered through our device management system and will not affect your files or day‑to‑day work.
