Just a quick update—Microsoft Teams now offers two helpful options for scheduled meetings:

Facilitator

• Acts like an AI meeting assistant.
• Helps manage agendas and timing.
• Creates real-time notes and summaries.
• Automatically turns on transcription.
  (Available for users with Microsoft 365 Copilot.)

Record and Transcribe Automatically

• Automatically records the meeting and creates a transcript.
• Great for reviewing discussions later or for compliance.
• Does not include agenda management or AI features.

In short:

• Facilitator = AI assistant + transcription + meeting management.
• Record & Transcribe = Just recording and transcription.

These options are available for scheduled meetings only, so be sure to enable them when setting up your next meeting!
